Mangione – Marcia J.

1943 – 2024

Age 80, of Hamburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024 with her loving family by her side.  She was born on June 24, 1943, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (nee Lachut) Kaiser. On Sept. 14, 1968, she married the love of her life, Stephen S. Mangione, who passed away on July 31, 2023.

She is survived by her two loving children Christian D. Mangione and Anne L. (Mark Nosowicz) Mangione and her two dear brothers Mark (Sue) and Ronald (late Tina) Kaiser. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Robert Kaiser and seven sisters, Annie Knapp, Delphine Doyle, Laverne Litchner, Charlene Marracino, Eileen Scholz, Lynnette Burgstahler and Naomi Rosetti.

Marcia worked at JC Penney as an Assistant Sales Manager. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul RC Church.  She enjoyed collecting dolls, sewing, she loved crossword and jigsaw puzzles and she loved watching Bette Davis movies from the 1930’s.

Friends and family may call from 4-7 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 14^th at SS Peter & Paul RC Church at 10AM, 66 E. Main St., Hamburg, NY. Please assemble at the church. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
