Age 85 of Orchard, Park, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at his home he built for his family. Beloved husband of 55 years of the late Marcia (nee Sheff) Preshoff; devoted father of Dave (Kimberly) and Jennifer (Paul Chernogorec) Preshoff; cherished grandfather of Ryan (Jessica) Dueringer, Amy (Justin) Reeder, Kelsey Watkins and Joshua Preshoff; great-grandfather of Chase and Tessa Reeder; dear brother of Ethel (late Donald) Cooper, Dorothy (late Harold) Williams and Ann Thompson; a special friend, Barb Kless; also survived by many nieces & nephews. George worked at the Ford Stamping Plant in Hamburg, NY from 1978 to 2004.  He enjoyed restoring antique cars, kayaking, biking, camping and woodworking. Most of all he loved taking care of his home and property. Relatives and friends may call at the Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg on Thursday, May 30^th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at St. Bernadette Church, 5930 S. Abbott Rd. Orchard Park, NY at 9 AM. Please assemble at the church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
