Obituary of Lorraine E. Schumer

Schumer, Lorraine E. (nee Krasinski), age 87 of North Boston, New York, July 3, 2020. Loving wife of 58 years of the late David L. Schumer. Dearest mother of Linda (Bob) Lapis, Jennifer (Michael) Fil, Jill (Donny Mammoser) Hildebrandt and the late David E. Schumer. Cherished grandmother of Renee, Crystal, Rob, Mike, Ben, Garrett, Brittany, Edward (EJ), Andrew and Jacob. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Stanley and Florence Krasinski. Daughter of the late Stanley and Helen Krasinski. Lorraine was a graduate of Lackawanna High School. As a young woman she worked for the telephone company. Prior to living in Eden Heights, she lived in North Boston for 55 years. She competed regularly at the Erie County Fair where she won many blue ribbons for her plants and flowers. She also volunteered for "Friends of the Fair" which she loved. Lorraine was a league and competitive bowler over the years. She enjoyed tennis, the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, college football and her family. Services and burial were private for the immediate family. Arrangements by the DONALD M.
