Calkins, Michael A., age 71, of Hamburg, March 8, 2011. Husband of Joan (nee Tracy). Father of Bernadine (Alan) Mealy, Michelle (Timothy) Wnek and Kelly (Daniel) Joyce. Brother of Barbara Sciandra, Linda (Thomas) Duskin and the late Carol DeRose, Edward "Jake" and Thomas (Carol) Calkins. Brother-in-law of James (Kirstin) Tracy. Also survived by six grandchildren. Special friend of the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter & Paul Church, Friday at 10:00 AM. Visitation at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Michael was a member of Fr. Baker Council #2243 K of C, Msgr. Leo Toomey Fourth Degree, Western Star Lodge #1185 F & AM, Hugh DePayens Commandry #30, Hamburg Historical Society, Hamburg Moose Lodge #992 and usher at SS Peter & Paul Church.
