Obituary of Linda Smith

Smith, Linda (nee Strasser), age 73 of Cheektowaga, New York, formerly of Hamburg, New York, November 2, 2020. Loving mother of Dylan and Ian (Mary Lou) Smith. Cherished grandmother of Tessa Fontaine and Lucy Smith. Sister of Mary MacDonald and Chuck Kopp. Linda was a graduate of Empire State College where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Social Work. As a hard working self sufficient woman, Linda worked for more than 20 years for Erie County retiring as a Senior Special Investigator. She was community minded doing volunteer work on political campaigns and working at the polls for elections. She helped women and children locally with domestic issues. Linda loved cooking, going to restaurants, animals (cats and dogs) and being active at local theaters with fundraising. Arrangements by the DONALD M.
