Kern, Basil L., age 80, of Irving, NY suddenly August 15, 2010. Beloved husband of Josephine (nee Haeick). Loving father of Joanna Kern. Brother of James (Carol) and Richard Kern. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg, Thursday morning at 9:20 and from Immaculate Conception Church, Eden, at 10:00. Friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday & Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Basil was President of the Lotus Bay Road Association.
